Magdy provides patients with one on one consultations and promotes medication adherence. Magdy will determine if a medication is appropriate, effective, and safe.

Pharmacist/ Owner
Samier Kamar, PharmD, RPh
Born and raised in Peterborough, Samier is following his father’s footsteps by completing his Doctor of Pharmacy. He recently completed his studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto.
Samier is interested in focused areas of chronic disease management, with a focus on diabetes and nephrology.
He has experience working in the inpatient renal department at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (PRHC) and the Kidney Care Clinic with pre-dialysis and dialysis patients, as well as in the Emergency Department and Inpatient General Medicine Services. He has also worked at Toronto General Hospital working alongside the nephrology team caring for Dialysis patients, as well as in the Toronto General Hospital Emergency and Inpatient General Medicine Departments. Furthermore, in Peterborough, he has had some experience working in a Methadone clinic alongside Methadone prescribers and pharmacists.
Alongside Magdy, they both bring holistic healthcare with experience and up-to-date clinical expertise, without losing out on the friendly and personable one-on-one family experience in this neighborhood pharmacy.
